Joe Biden: Gasoline Tax Pause Announcement Expected During The Weekend

On Monday, U.S. President Joe Biden stated that a decision regarding whether or not to temporarily suspend the federal gasoline tax could be made by the end of this weekend.

“Yes, I am considering it,” President Biden said to reporters. “I hope I have a decision based on data I am looking for by the end of the week.”

President Biden also stated that he desired additional explanations as to why energy companies were not refining more oil.
